ABOUT US

Tysonfilm was started in 2012 by Matt Tyson as an industrial, commercial, and documentary film production company. Matt has worked in film production for twenty-plus years, with over a decade of experience as a producer in New York City working on Telly Award winning industrial and commercial projects for Fortune 500 clients including Hewlett-Packard, GlaxoSmithKilne, Pepsi, the Robin Hood Foundation, Contently, UBS, and Toyota.

In 2012, Tysonfilm partnered with CreativeChaos to produce the feature documentary Thank You For Your Service, which premiered to a sold out audience at DOC NYC in November, 2015. The documentary screened at a variety of film festivals around the world, continues to push the national conversation about military mental healthcare, and is available to stream via Hulu and Amazon. Matt has gone on to direct and produce a variety of award-winning short films, including the documentary Cat Man Do and the narrative short Walden Pink starring David Yow and Gibby Haynes. Current Tysonfilm projects include industrial film production for hire, the narrative short Seymour Ruck that just premiered at the Chicago Underground Film Festival, a narrative short film in pre-production, and a narrative feature film in the early stages of pre-production.

Matt also composes music for TED videos, worked as music researcher on the film Stake Land, and plays bass guitar in the very loud band Goes Cube.
